PREFERENCES

As Darkness is a beast of chaotic evil, he is best served as the typical 80's fantasy villain and will be played as such. This means he is not a nice character however, in certain instances, such as with Princess Lily, he can allow himself to be more patient and calm though still harboring a short fuse should he be denied what he desires.

Darkness does not feel love, though will pretend or even entertain the thought of it should it get him what or who he wants. What he more often than not feels is unbridled lust.

He does best against the typical Hero of Light characters though I don't intend to do much in the way of light versus dark battles for scenes. Rather, being the charming and cunning manipulator that he is, to go head-to-head with those of the light in a more psychological manner is what I'm more interested in in terms of writing him.

He also does best and has a so-called weakness, or fondness, for those with pure hearts and souls, especially if you happen to be a princess (or prince). Because such hearts and souls are so opposite of his own, he grows distracted and fascinated with them and begins to lust for that which he lacks within his own heart... though means to corrupt and claim it for himself; he has absolutely NO desire to be one with the light.

In terms of other chaotic evils, Darkness is LORD DARKNESS and Master of the Underworld/The Night. Meaning... he does not play well with others and does not take kind to being ordered by another (except perhaps his Father) even if of the same caliber in terms of darkness. He will command minions/armies but not play nice with those who seek to take his control from him.

Other fantasy creatures and characters are always done well with him also, regardless of canon. Crosscanon and assumed cr are always welcome and encouraged.

PERMISSIONS

IC PERMISSIONS

PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Should you be the pure heart/soul that he desires, he will offer this to his princess/prince. Otherwise, the only physical affection coming from him will be that of extreme pain.

FLIRTING: He can be charming when he wants to be and will absolutely flirt with and manipulate whoever may happen to have caught his eye to be by his side. Flirting with him, should you be who he desires, will result in a sort of gentle bending to them as he seems to desire having that which he lusts for and will be more cooperative with them.

RELATIONSHIPS: They will be dark. They will be twisted. They will be full of corruption, lust, and twisted desires for Darkness does not know love, only lust and desire. That being said, I'm more than happy to write such relationships and please note that I am open to both m/f and m/m for those.

SEX & SMUT: Honestly, I'm here for trash. How he is will depend on who it is such as a pure heart/soul versus just a hero of light or someone else. Pure hearts and souls he will want to consume and corrupt and bring out their own carnal desires to feed on and indulge so greedily in. Heroes and other sorts, he could be more sadistic, cruel, and mean to break them both physically and emotionally. Always better to hash out the details there but, again, open to both m/f and m/m for sex and smut.

VIOLENCE & FIGHTING: He is an omnipotent being so it will be incredibly tough to take him down should you not be a creature of the Light such as a unicorn. In saying that, yes I'm for Heroes of the Light dealing with him but I'm not all that interested in writing out battles of light versus dark.

DEATH: He will be more than happy to bring you death. But death for him is almost impossible given who and what he is.

PSYCHIC INFORMATION: Darkness is also a creature of omniscience and a very very good manipulator. Entering his mind is liable to be chaotic and nightmarish but you are free to roam around if you wish to be sucked into an eternal night of insanity. That being said, a heads up is always good so I can relay what he has going on in there.

OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Darkness himself comes with A Lot of offensive subjects which I prefer to always have talked about and discussed prior to getting started with anything just so we're clear on everyone's limits and what someone does or doesn't want to do/what they're comfortable with.
